Let’s Build a meeblip Triode!
As mentioned on the web site: https://meeblip.com/products/meeblip-triode-synthesizer …. MeeBlip triode’s huge sound is driven by three oscillators and a unique twin-t analog lowpass filter. Two digital pulse / pwm / sawtooth oscillators can be detuned and a square wave sub-oscillator adds to the bottom end. For sonic variety, triode also offers hands-on access to 24 grungy wavetables, along with dual envelopes routed to oscillator amplitude and filter cutoff for powerful filter sweeps and effects…
This small mono hybrid synth is open-hardware with open-software firmware uploaded on his micro-controller.
I found the schematics and his firmware on its support’s site.
In this article I’ll show you how to build it and what solution I’ve found to use a custom made pcb with panelled pots and switches.
I’ll publish some videos on how to make front panels using a laser printer, some acrylics sheets, transparent papers (used once upon a time for slideshows..) and alufoil.
